On the Set with Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere and Greg Grunberg might be a tad biased, but these actors make it abundantly clear in new interviews with TV Guide:

You do NOT wanna miss the "Fugitives" arc that premieres Monday.

"The government gets involved with taking people like us down and capturing us," Panettiere says in the video below. "We all go on the run and eventually come up with a plan [to get back at the government.]"

Grunberg, meanwhile,, acknowledges that Heroes has promised series reboots before. However..."

Trust me," he said. "I have never been excited as I am about Fugitives."

Masi Oka Previews Volume Four

Masi Oka is aware of the criticism Heroes has received over the last year.

In a new interview, the man that portrays Hiro responded to it:

The last cycle of episodes, the "Villains" arc, got a bit of a critical beating, though most fans thought it was redeemed by the last couple of episodes. What can we expect with the new volume?
Pretty much, to be exact, we're going to go back to the fundamentals that made the show really great and what's kept it grounded, with it going back to the central characters and trying to tell smaller stories, but with big action. There's going to be more character-based [stories] as we see them finally come together towards the end to try to save themselves.

New, Powerful Duo

What will Hiro be up to in this new arc?
What's interesting about Hiro is he starts off powerless. I find it actually interesting to play a powerless character, because you kind of get the joy of rediscovering that power and what it means to be a hero without powers. So having someone who had had powers and going to someone who's powerless is an interesting character mindset. You kind of fall from grace in many ways. So it's about adjusting to that, and how do you live your life knowing that once you were a hero and that you can still be a hero by helping others ... and possibly trying to get the powers back?

As always, thanks so much to everyone that participated in this week's Heroes Caption Contest.

Forgive our bias, but we had to award "Remanant" as the winner for making a reference to the 44th President of the United States.

Heroes Casting Call: Young Actors Wanted!

For example, a recently-published casting request reads:

Do more flashbacks and/or time traveling make you excited about Heroes?

Jimmy Jean-Louis: Bye, Bye Haitian!

Not too much is known about volume four of Heroes.

But it does appear as though everyone's memories are safe for a bit.

The Haitian Photo

E! Online recently asked Jimmy-Jean Louis about his role in the "Fugitives" segment of the show and he replied:

"I don't know too much about it, to be honest with you, because I've not been doing too much in this volume."

E! also reports that one Hero will not be coming back next season. Who do you think that will be?
