Heroes Episode Guide, Photos, Quotes & More from "An Invisible Thread"

Warning: If you have not watched last night's season finale of Heroes, go read our recap of "An Invisible Thread."

For those that have seen it, we have a few pressing questions from the decent installment:

  • How could they not have shown the fight between Sylar and the Petrelli brothers?!? That was extremely disappointing.
  • Couldn't Claire's blood have saved Nathan?
  • Why couldn't Peter have simply shape-shifted into Nathan for the next few weeks, in order to speak with the President and ensure everyone's safety?

As usual, we were left with more questions of logic than with satisfactory resolutions to this volume's storylines?

Still, we'll certainly tune in to Volume Five. Will you?

Adrian Pasdar Welcomes Shorter Schedule, Fewer Episodes

The fourth season of Heroes will only be comprised of 18-20 episodes.

And that's quite alright with Adrian Pasdar!

"If things start shifting around, they can always add more at the end, but doing 25 episodes this year was nearly 11 months of work," Pasdar told TV Guide. "We love the work, but in order for the quality to be maintained, you can't just keep grinding it out.

"The pacing will be a little better - we were sometimes shooting three episodes at once, and there's no way that something doesn't slip through the cracks. It just gets crazy."

We agree. We just hope Nathan is around to see next season!

Bryan Fuller Spills Season Finale Secrets

In a new interview, writer/producer Bryan Fuller dished on next week's Heroes season finale.

Speaking to TV Addict, here's what Fuller had to say about it:

After you watch it, I think fans will see the finale as a very logical extension of the “Fugitives” arc and agree that it’s the best finale the show has ever had. Sylar kills a hero, and kills him good, but gets some good comeuppance too. We [the writers room] broke it painstakingly in the room over two weeks, it took a long time to break because we were trying to figure out how do we earn all of this stuff and how do we set up the necessary arcs for the next season and I think we did a good job.

Who do you think Sylar will kill?!?

A Male Character to Die on Heroes

Someone dies next week on Heroes.

Reportedly, this is an actual death, one that truly sticks.

So, who will it be?

Sources confirm to E! Online that the character is male and is "someone you've definitely come to know quite well since season one."

In many ways, the article states, the killer also perishes. Viewers will need to wait until next week to understand what that means.

Heroes Episode Guide, Photos, Quotes & More from "I Am Sylar"

If the goal of this episoe of Heroes was to make Sylar seem more sympathetic, we don't know if it accomplished it.

While it was cool to see the show's ultimate bad guy constantly shifting into new people, it didn't make a lot of sense for him to actually take on the personality of his mother at times. That's never happened before. It appeared to be yet another example of the writers taking liberities just to make a storyline work.

Heroes Season Finale, Season Four Spoilers

Wow.

There appears to be a whole lot ahead on Heroes.

Cast and crew members spoke to E! News about the rest of season three and the beginning of season four. Here are excerpts from the feature:

Nathan vs. Sylar: "You will see a face-off. You can feel the two lines converging toward each other, very much, in the next episode. There's still Building 26 and Danko to deal with, and those bad guys to put down, and then the whole stopping of Sylar's nefarious plan. All of our characters are involved. The season finale is the best episode we've done in a really, really long time," said creator Tim Kring.

Dangerous Games

Evil Parkman? "The last two episodes are absolutely huge. My character is asked to do something, and does something, that is incredibly dark and results in the demise of another character. It's not expected. It's pretty sick. Torture is involved. It's someone we all know. It felt great to tap into my dark side," said Greg Grunberg.

More on The Company: Expect more background information on The Company next season. Said Kring:

"We didn't plan on it until we saw how good '1961' came out. We all fell in love with those actors who were playing the younger versions of them. We are devising season four to go back to that timeframe, since lots of interesting things happened at the beginning of the formation of the Company. I found it a really effective way to dig into the mythology of the show."

A lighter season four: "Fugitives was such a dark chapter in the history of Heroes, so we look at Redemption as a unifying theme for next season. We're going to see redemption for all of the characters in one respect or another. Our goal going into season four is taking every character and making that character's story evolve into an entire series. We just want the smorgasbord of Heroes to be as satisfying for everybody," said writer Bryan Fuller.

A better Hiro to come: "The Hiro story for season four is the best story we've ever come up with for Hiro. It's so emotional and exciting and adventurous," said Fuller.
