Four Months Ago

Adam didn't say he had been in prison for 30 years. He said that he had been there "with the company" for 30 years. He had been imprisoned for 6 years, when he slipped up and was captured by Elle and the company. So if Linderman was his disciple, why would the company that he seemed to be the top dog of still be holding Adam captive? Bob, your story doesn't add up. As for Elle, I definitely think she is related to Claire. She's twenty-four making he six or so years older than Claire. When she was six, she burnt her "grandmothers" house down. When Claire was a baby, her biological mother burnt ther house down. hint, hint. Houses being burnt down in the same year might not be solid evidence, but it's enough to make you think. Peter was told that he was a danger to those around him to make him stay at the company. Sounds like Bob's M.O. to tell Elle the same thing. While Nathan might not be her father, Merideth could definitly be her mother. And speaking of Nathan, how long will Adam's blood allow him to regenerate? Cause he would be a way more kick ass character if he could regenerate and fly. So the only thing I'm pissed about from last episode that advertised that all my questions would be answered. Why doesn't Sylar have any powers? Hiro? Candice? WTF? Give Sylar his damn powers back please...

God I hope that Peter cant absorb the Haitians abilities its nice to think there is at least someone who doesnt exist solely to provide Peter with more powers.

I have to say it was quite pleasant seeing Peter get owned by Elle even if she did do it from behind.

Dont get me wrong I actually really like Peter its just the way the writers have handled his powers.

Working on a homebrew RPG with some friends and the way to deal with Peters ability is one of the biggest issues.    Current thoughts are simply you cant be an empath or that you can only retain the use of a single power and absorbing a new one replaces the old even considering adding in that an empath can only retain an ability for a set period of time.

At least Sylar has to work for his powers.....

I don't think it will be an issue of Peter being too powerful because of all the abilities he's absorbed.  It seems that he's only been using powers he knows he has, like telekenesis, healing, invisibility...abilities he's seen other people use and consciously knows he's absorbed.  Other powers, like Eden's persuasion, perhaps Dale's hearing, or Zane's melting ability, are powers he doesn't realize he has access to, thus doesn't consciously use them.  He may use the Haitian's power in future since he's observed it used against him.

Has anyone else noticed in the preview for the next episode, the scene with Kaito Nakamura on top of the Deveaux building and the man sprinting towards him, said man is in a different outfit than what the hooded killer was wearing in Four Months Later?  Original outfit was a grey sweater, but this outfit looks like a black sweater without a hood, perhaps a black beanie or a man with black hair (maybe Hiro running to his father to protect him?).

I seriously doubt that Elle and Claire are related.  (Unless Elle has a different father than Claire.)  One major reason being that NBC wouldn't dare portray Peter making out with his niece or whatever type family connection.  That would really be pushing it.   Sure there are a lot of risque things on Network Television but I doubt that NBC would let it go that far.

I was once a preacher of characters being related, but am starting to doubt it more and more. It could still happen, and there is evidence to suggest certain characters could be related (like Claire and Adam), but the fact that a dude who can fly and some chick who can produce fire from her hands can have a daughter with regenerating powers indicates the DNA mutations/evolutions are somewhat random and not hereditary. The only connection we've seen thus far is Parkman and his dad, but that's based on the words of Maury that his power started out like Matt's and he learned to develop it. Well, we saw how much we can trust what Maury Parkman says. For all we know, his power could have been the same from Day One and he lied about it to trick Matt into that room. If there are any relations, I'm guessing it's Adam to Claire through Claire's mom and that the fire that was supposed to have killed Claire and her mom 14 years ago was started by the mother while fiddling with her powers. Elle's "Dad," is likely Bob, and he is probably an adoptive father much like HRG is Claire's adoptive father. It could very well be that company made a habit of taking kids with special abilities and passing them around to its employees for "adoption." The best part about all this is the episodes will eventually air, the questions will be answered and we'll all be proven wrong! Man I love this show.

This was probably the best episode of the series so far!!!!! also to ruin tht spoiler for everyone if elle was claires sister then Nathan must have slept around ONE HELL OF A LOT to have all those illigitamate kids. It said what happened to sylar, candis dragged him off kirby plaza and then he got loads of surgerys to survive but i wanna see how he could have lost his powers. They should show like an operation montage with like the million dollar man theme tune playing thtd b hilarious

The fire that was supposed to kill claire and her real mum was started by Merideth(Claires mum) because the Company was trying to take her and claire so she burned everything up and ran. A company guy found Claire(lovely and healed) in the wrekage and gave her to Kaito(Hiros dad) who gave it to HRG

Guys, Meredith Gordon probably isn't Elle's mom. In the episode where Claire finds that article on the fire in Kermit, Texas it states that the woman in the fire was 21 and that there was a 14 month baby killed in the fire also. If Meredith was 21 when Claire was 14 months then this means she was either 19 or 20 when Claire was born. Elle is 6 years older than Claire. Meredith would have to have been 13 or 14 when she delivered Elle if she's her mother. It's not physically impossible, but I highly doubt the script is going to have some wacky child molestation arc going on. As someone said earlier, the Peter makeout scene seems to indicate that Elle is not Nathan's daughter (again it just indicates this...I guess it's still within the realms of possibility) I would guess that if Claire and Elle are blood related, then Elle would have to be Claire's maternal aunt. I know a lot of people who have siblings who are 13 or 14 years older than them.

I just rewatched the episode and thought the same thing Chezball. Elle says "When I was six I burnt down my grandma's house''... That means... if Elle is 24 and Claire is 18, then there is a 6 year difference. It could be possible that Meredith is Elle's sister. Maybe it wasn't Meredith that started it, maybe it was Elle. So, Meredith is living with her mom in Kermit, Texas when her whinny little sister, Elle, starts a fire and burns the house down, suposedly killing her daughter, Clarire. (Elle's neice).... Why in Gods name am I putting so much thought into this TV show?
