Last week, Milo Ventimiglia and Masi Oka proved once again why it's pretty cool to have super powers. Or at least portray characters that have super powers.
The actors spent time with fans in Sydney, Australia, promoting the second season DVD of Heroes. Follow this article's jump now to see pics of Milo and Masi in action...
Milo Ventimiglia spent nearly a week recently on a USO tour, hanging out with troops in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan.
“The tendency is for people to just read the news and talk about the war,” Milo said of the trip. “That wasn’t enough for me. To be able to come out here and say ‘thank you’ was important to me. It made me really happy to see smiling faces. That’s what it is all about, knowing I made their day.”
The Heroes actor added:
“My father’s a veteran, my uncle’s a veteran, my grandfather was a veteran. I nearly went into the Navy myself when I was 18. So I got a chance to go overseas and give the men and women of the armed forces a little bit of a respite."
Turns out, numerous troops follow the hit NBC show whenever they can, too.
“When I was over in Iraq and Afghanistan, a lot of soldiers were like, `Dude, will you just kill Sylar already? Will you just get rid of him?’ And I’m like, `Man, I don’t know if you’re gonna want that just yet. I think you’re going to be very surprised as to what happens.’”
We've already shared a few major Heroes spoilers from last week's Comic-Con panel.
Here, meanwhile, are a couple of shots from the event. Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panettiere look to be enjoying themselves in front of the audience...
Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia were recently spotted out in London after dinner together at Nobu. It's nice to see the pretend brothers getting along in real life, isn't it?
Ventimiglia also recently told People that he's psyched about the upcoming movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
"May 22, I will be there," the Heroes star simply said.
Milo Ventimiglia appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly! this morning. During the broadcast, the man that makes female viewers soon as Peter Petrelli admitted that acting may have been his first love... but there were others.
"I had a couple options," Milo said."One, I wanted to be an actor. Two, I wanted to be a doctor. And third, I wanted to be a fighter pilot."
Despite the fulfillment of his initial dream, Ventimiglia - whose new movie Pathology opens on April 18 - got to live out another one during the recent hiatus from Heroes, he said:
"During the strike, when Hollywood was shut down, [I went up in a fighter plane]. And I also spent some time with the Air Force Reserves. It was amazing. It was one of the coolest things I'd ever done to see what these pilots put themselves through, the training, what the planes are capable of."
As previously reported, Milo Ventimiglia stars in the upcoming movie Pathology. It hits theaters in May.
For, take a look at the Milo-based movie poster for the film:
There are a number of reasons to lament the fact that Heroes won't be back on the air until the fall.
A major one for female viewers, however? Less time spent ogling Milo Ventimiglia. But the Heroes Fanatic staff is here to help.

Milo Ventimiglia has signed up to star in the suspense movie Armored. He recently talked with movie website Comingsoon.net about the role...
Comingsoon.net: Would this shoot have fallen into your hiatus or did the writers strike allow you to be available?
Milo Ventimiglia: This probably would not have been possible if the writers strike didn't happen. I think it's one of those good things and bad things where I was torn out of my day job, but I got the opportunity to do three films on my break. This is my third.
Comingsoon.net: This movie seems pretty action intense. Does it compare to Heroes?
Ventimiglia: Yeah. We were on the Sony lot and I was walking around and I had a huge opening on my hip and side. Some guy said to me, "Oh, you guys are shooting over here?" I go, "Yeah. No, no! A different job." He's like, "Oh, you're not back on 'Heroes.'" I'm like, "No, no no." It's the same and I treat it the same. We do a lot of stunts. There is a lot of blood on "Heroes" and I'm pretty comfortable with it.
Comingsoon.net: Do you think Nathan is really dead this time?
Ventimiglia: I hope not. It'd be really, really bad to lose Adrian Pasdar. Regardless of whether or not Nathan's character has run its course, losing Adrian on that show for me personally would be a tragedy. It would be a different show.

Milo Ventimiglia is featured in the March 2008 issue of GQ. For the first time, the Heroes star actualy talks a bit about his relationship with 18-year-old costar Hayden Panettiere.
HALO. That's what the blogs are calling you and Hayden. Does the nickname bug you?
You know what, man, it makes me smile.
If you two are dating, why not just say so?
When you're in the public eye, you try to keep whatever you can private. People can speculate and talk. But what can you do, stop living your life?
Hayden was GQ's Obsession of the Year. Did you like those photos?
Yes, I did. They were very nice.
